영어 문장 어법 문제인데요.
the police sent a text message back to them, (saying/said) that a rescue helicopter was looking for them.
답은 saying이라고 하는데 왜 그런지 궁금해요.
제가 해석한 문장과 어떻게 다른지 설명 부탁드려요.
