much knowledge를 받는 대명사는 this인가요, these인가요?

“We learn much knowledge but it is not easy to practice (this/these) in person”에서 much knowledge를 받는 말이 궁금해요.
knowledge는 셀 수 없으니 this가 맞을까요? these도 가능한지 헷갈립니다.
앞에 가주어 it이 있어서 it은 피하고 싶은데, that이나 those는 어색한 것 같아요.
